Unhappy Baby not moving yet!

I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am starting to worry a bit because I still do not feel this DC moving! I remember with Anthony Jr feeling him at this point, is this normal or do you think I should call the Dr?

If you're really worried call you dr - it can't hurt. But I know with this pg it took longer to feel the baby move much at all. Turns out my placenta is up front this time around muffling the kicks and squirms. So maybe you have something like that going on.

I wouldn't worry unless you get to 20 weeks and dont feel anything. Each baby is different.

Re: Baby not moving yet!

I wouldn't worry too much, with DD#1 I was 15 weeks, DD#2 (was a mover ) I was 11 weeks, but with this one I'm 15 1/2 weeks and only "think" I felt the baby move once. I figure I'll be feeling it plenty in a few weeks, I'll take the repreave for now

I wouldn't worry yet. I was freaking out 2 weeks ago because I hadn't felt LO move yet and was sure I had felt DD move before 16 weeks (I am 18.5 weeks now). I still have only felt LO move a couple times and usually kicking me in the ribs. I posted a thread a couple weeks ago and the mamas were great and it made me feel a lot better. Hi. I am sure you have nothing to worry about but for your peace of mind, I would call your doctor for an appt. As the other momma's have said each pregnancy is different and with each one our muscles, uteruses are more stretched out so you may not notice early movement.

Re: Baby not moving yet!

With #2, I didn't feel movement until 20 weeks. With #3, I didn't feel anything until 24 weeks. With my first, I felt movement at 16 weeks. So yeah.. it's rather strange because you'd think you'd feel movement sooner because you can't mistake what it feels like. But each baby is different and it all depends on where they're sitting in utero.

Good luck mama!
