Jensen William arrived at 1001am yesterday 10/20/2011. 7lbs 9oz 21 inches. I will update with all the details later since we just got home. Just wanted to give an update, and say congrats to the other Mommas who've had their babies recently as well.

UPDATE/BIRTH STORY: We are all doing well, thank you ladies. Big sister can't get enough of her little brother

has to check on him anytime he makes the slightest sound lol.
- I was having mild contractions when I went to bed around 11pm, but I figured it was nothing to worry about. I woke up that morning around 2am to pee (usually don't check the time but I looked for some reason) and everything was still the same with the contractions(about 10 mins apart) so I went back to bed. I woke up again at 5 when the alarm for dh was going off, and of course had to pee again so I go to get up and notice a wet spot on the pillow I use between my legs and that my boxers were wet. I knew at that point to tell dh to call his mom cause my water had broke. After eating and getting some last minuet things ready and sending dd off with grand-mom we headed to the hospital. They checked and sure enough my water had broke and I was around 4cm (I think this was between 6-7am), and I was moved into a room. They set up my i.v. so I could get my liquids, but that was it

I was relieved when they said they would see how things went before they gave me pit. My contractions were picking up some too at this point, at 8:30 the doc came in and checked me and I was 6 cm, she estimated that I would have him between 12-2 and was going to take a long lunch since she had to be at the office (right across the street) as well that day. By 9am my contractions were getting heavier and closer together and I was having to have dh do some pressure points and breath through them. I thought I wasn't going to be able to continue without some type of pain meds or an epi so I asked. DH reassured me I could do it, and the nurse did as well and said she was going to check me I was an 8! Holy crap! Thank goodness the doc was still there and she came back in cause I was feeling a lot of pressure and I wanted to push, so I went ahead listening to my own body and the doc said to go with it. That help take some of the pressure off, she finished getting ready for the birth and told me he would be here soon (this was at 9:40) I pushed for 20 minuets, and at 10:01 he was here. They put him on my chest and oh I was on cloud 9. He was healthy and crying, after about 5 mins they took him and did his vitals and what not 7lbs 9 oz 21 inches long and a 13in head circumference. I had 2 small tears, but nothing that needed stitches. Once they were all done with us, I was able to nurse him while the nurse finished cleaning up the room, and checking my vitals. We got to go home the next day, and everything has been going pretty smoothly. Hope you all are doing well!
