So, I am 6-7 weeks, currently on progesterone, and when I went to the bathroom, there was brown when I wiped, I know its old blood and can be normal, but my cervix feels soft and open a little... I'm nervous. Any input?

On a good hand, I'm sick as a dog so that's a good sign

OH no! Yes, the sickies is a GOOD sign. and Brown blood is good compared to red blood. are you cramping?

Spotting is so common (especially brown blood). As long as you don't have progressively worsening cramps, you should be fine. And if you've had previous children, your cervix will relax slightly once your plug has formed.

Thanks ladies, I'm cramping a little, so I'm worried, but I'm going to wait til tomorrow to freak out, if it gets worse ill go see the Dr

good!! I spotted several times the 1st few wks with DS, then had a huge bleed at 14 wks and again in labor. And he is just fine
