How do you girls all do it!

I work as an RN nights, sleep days, homeschool afternoons, Im the cook, cleaner, booboo fixer, disciplinarian, some days I want to do nothing lately because I am so tired. Husband works 430 am to 5pm every day an hour and 45 minutes away. How long does this tiredness continue- or maybe my sleep deprivation is more pronounced because of the fact I never sleep enough. I wish food would cook it self, I wish I had a teacher in the home to teach the children- my ambition sucks. I look to God for his grace and mercy but Im not feeling to very strong and productive lately. I wish I could just not work!

Stefanie - I bow down to you mama. It's not surprising that you're feeling a little overwhelmed. Is there anyone you can ask for help?

I can't imagine having all that on my plate. I am a sahm, my older 3 kids go to school (just down the street) - and right now I can't get my chores done like I really like to.
Is there anyone who can help you out? Give you a break? Any way you could take a bit of time off work, or cut back hours/shifts?

I dont have anyone available no. Believe me Ive called them with melt downs many a times but I cant expect them to get off work and come to my town to help.

Wow that is a lot on your plate! Could u maybe cut back work hours to part time?

I work part time, take care of my two boys, and the house the rest of the days, and that kicks my butt

I can't imagine having that schedule! I am dealing with fatigue and sometimes it hard to keep up with my toddler. Kudos to you! I second cutting back on your hours. I am wondering how do you sleep without your husband home with kids? Is your oldest the babysitter during that time?

Wow. I couldn't do it. Can some of the older kids start helping with the chores around the house so you only have to teach and be an RN and a mommy?
