DDC, it sounds like a subchorionic hemorrhage, and the ER doctor probably would have been able to see it on ultrasound if he had bothered to look. Best wishes, I know it's scary, hopefully your doctor can give you some answers at your appt.

How are things today?
I agree that it could be an SCH. I had one with Isaac's pregnancy - actually thought I'd started a heavy AF right on time, lasted 12 days. Then I felt off, so I took an hpt - popped up bfp right away.

They did an u/s right away to check for an ectopic, but easily found a good sized SCH along with the baby in there.

I am still having some on and off moderate bleeding (lots of clots) and cramping. The flow is heavy enough to require a pad, but I'm not soaking them.

Can they still tell if it is a SCH if I get a u/s tomorrow? I will probably still want an u/s but I was wondering.
