Re: Snowsuits/puffy coats and car seats don't mix! How to keep your kid warm AND saf

i just want to say thank you for this. I just ordered 2 fleece bunting for my guy. i have always used snow suits. I got a great deal at old navy if anyone else needs some.

I got 2 buntings 12-18 and 18-24 2 matching hats and a sweater for 35 shipped.

I plan to also pick up some kind of blanket to keep in the car, we get to negative 26 celcius here. Any suggestions? I hope to find something over here since anything heavy to ship is very pricy.

Those tie fleece blankets with two layers of fleece are very warm! The kits are cheap at Joanns and Walmart. We have a basket in the coat closet that I toss blankets in and the kids are in charge of bringing in their blankets. That way they have a nice warm blanket to take to the car. We also take them in stores with us so they are warm for when we have to go back to the cold car.

Any suggestions on brands of "shower cap" covers?

I have an Eddie Bauer one from Target 2 years ago and I love it.

We had a kiddopotomus when my oldest was new, and it was nice and cheap.
