DS has been very well managed on Flovent. We need albuterol only rarely now. Pulmicort didn't work for him due to side effects.

He also takes Benadryl and Allegra for allergies, and Prevacid for reflux. He is 18 months old. I do feel like my kid is a med junkie. It is hard to keep all his Rx straight, especially when he gets sick and we add neb treatments and/or antibiotics.

Re: What's your asthma med regimen?

Hope you get it under control. I don't have anything to really add except I can commiserate. DD is SUPPOSED to be on daily pulmicort and albuterol as needed. We also have a zyrtec scrip. But I am so tired of pumping her full of crap that doesn't even work so I've stopped. We start up if she starts having problems..aka coughing. I thought the zyrtec would keep her allergies down and prevent the coughing..nope. So we just take it as it comes. It doesn't sound like DD's asthma is as severe as your sons although she has been hospitalized 3 times..as recently as August.

He had lots of night waking, and was hungry, thirsty and angry. The nurse described his behavior as "belligerent," which I thought was a funny way to describe a 10 month old baby - aren't all babies belligerent?

My DS takes Pulimort, Zyrtec, Singulair, Prevacid, and Albuterol (PRN). We are also in Central Indiana!! He just had a bronchoscopy in September that showed him having a narrow trachea. We are going to see the allergist/ENT today. OP-PM me if you want to chat about doctors and such.
