I had two awesome waterbirths! They were incredible. No pain whatsoever with either kiddo. I wouldn't labor/deliver any other way if I had the option

DS was born in a birth tub in our living room. His labour was very interesting, it lasted 3 days, but by the time I was in active labour (I took 2 doses of castor oil) it was VERY intense, and lasted 3 hours.
Both of my children were born with one hand on their face, with DD (Land birth) I tore, with DS, I did not. (Both babes had the same head/chest sz, ds was only 2 oz larger.
I feel like the birth tub saved me, it was amazing.

Tried the tub, didn't like, and have no desire to do it again. Just didn't feel good at the time.

I cant advocate enough for the tub! I LOVE it and will do it again!

I loved my birth tub. I felt cleaner, and lighter, and plan to do it again. I don't know if it helped with labor since the only other natural labor I had was 1h 45m until birth, so much more intense.

Loved the tub

I labored in our bedroom until 5cm and then got in the tub, it was awesome and I felt a lot more relaxed in the water. I will plan a water birth with my next baby too!

All 9 of my HB's were waterbirths. Never want to labor and birth on land.

Depends on the complication and the midwife. My dd's shoulders were sticky and I was able to stay in water (flipped to hands and knees) and my mw was able to get her out quickly and easily.

I attempted a water birth with my first. Hated the tub, but I really believe it was because I went in too early and it slowed my labour. ALso, I couldn't keep the water hot enough.

2nd and 3rd were both water births. I didn't get in the tub until I was in transition (after water breaking both times) and it was amazing.

We bought our pool and have re-used it each time. Best investment we could have made.

Used the tub. Loved the tub. Booked the tub today for December's home birth.
