Wooden doll crib/cradle -where to buy?

We want to get DD a good wood doll crib or cradle for her dolls for christmas. Anyone want to suggest where to buy one?? I checked melissa and doug and the only one I liked was $69. I would prefer to spend under $50 for one. Recommendations??

This is the classic thing to get at a junque store. My daughter has one that we got for IIRC $10.

Our thrift stores stink around here....Never any good toys like this in them.

I'd watch Craigslist.

It looks like it needs to be finished, but that way, you could decorate it yourself.

Are you even remotely handy? Because there's tons of patterns for all kinds of doll furniture here . DH and I made DD & our niece the farmhouse doll beds for Christmas last year and they loved them...we spent about $40 for everything to make them, and I mean everything, wood, glue, screws, fabric for the bedding, etc. Plus we have tools & supplies leftover for other projects now too They were super easy to make and turned out really cute.

Re: Wooden doll crib/cradle -where to buy?

I found one at our baby consignment shop for $6.99 for DD and it's adorable. But otherwise, I would watch for a vintage/used one on Ebay. That's where I was looking before and I found several in the $30-40 range.
