Re: Anyone use Johnson's baby shampoo??

I use Cally baby and Baby Magic. I'm sure Baby Magic shares some of the same chemical lists though. But the way I figure it...it won't kill them. They've been making these products like that for 30 years and we're all still here. lol

Basically saying not to stress the small stuff.

Me and DS have been using it. I think I will go today and get something else. (After we ran out of our natural stuff I just got lazy )

Yes BUT cancer rates are very high and I can't help but think cancer might not be so rampant if EVERYTHING didn't have chemicals in it. Maybe I am wrong but I am thrifty and old school and prefer to use as little as possible so we do a lot of cleaning (house and our bodies) with water, baking soda, and vinegar. I don't think all these chemical laden soaps are actually necessary. I mean water and a wash rag work pretty well.

Eh there are a LOT of known carcinogens out there. If you avoided every single one of them you wouldn't be using electricity or a car or many other things that are the norm in our society.

Another vote for Burts Bees and California Baby. I will admit I do for whatever reason like the smell of the classic Johnson's Baby shampoo, but we don't use it for the reasons you posted. Most of the time I don't even use soap just water and EVOO after a bath - DS has really dry skin.

Something you should be aware of is that burts bees sold out to the clorox bleach company and is no longer natural and sulfate free

Yep I know! It sucks but the stuff I have now was ordered from frontier a long while back and is still the good stuff. We aren't big on soaps anyways so they last us forever and we will re evaluate when we run out. I am a pretty big fan of water and a wash cloth. We also like california baby and Dr. Bronners so will probably replace with one of those when the BB is gone.
