Yup to that, sadness thing was Tom's and Burt's being bought by big corps, now their products are more of the same garbage.

I never could use J&J stuff, so I never liked it or used it on DS. I use handmade soap, I know the ingredients and like the variety I can chose from, which my skin needs since many common ingredients are bad for my skin.

J & J stuff smells the best to me but I always feel so guilty using it. We don't that often but we need to stop completely.

Re: Anyone use Johnson's baby shampoo??

I haven't used J&J since the report came out a couple of years ago. We use California Baby now.

I know there are carcinogens everywhere, doesn't mean I think it is okay to use something that is going to go directly on skin and be absorbed. I think carcinogens should be cut down on.

Re: Anyone use Johnson's baby shampoo??

I researched baby soap before my DD was born and decided to do SLS free soaps. We ended up using California Baby and have not used anything else except some Dr. Bronner's bar soap now and then.

Later heard about all the awful stuff in J&J and was so happy that we never used it!

Its ironic how the cheaper alternative has neither of those, so y make the regular if the "natural" is cheaper?

Thanks for this info! Ive been weary of j&j for years and now i am for sure.

Sent from my Inspire. Hope everything makes sense!

I use Dr. Woods from Vitacost. I love the smell.

Formaldehyde is a naturally occurring substance. I didn't see in that article any info about formaldehyde levels - the dose makes the poison, as they say.
