Do you drink caffiene when your pregnant?

Oh my gosh I don't know what I'd do without my cup of coffee in the morning! I wasn't as much of a coffee drinker with the older kids pg's, but with Paisley I stopped drinking coffee in the first trimester bc of mc, but started again around the 6th month. Other than the cup of coffee in the morning, I only drink water or milk.

I researched vitamin water and they have starvia in it and another T word that your not suppose to drink either dureing pregnancy. I dont drink pop. I drink mostly lemon water, I used to drink the sweat tea from mdonalds- but im sure thats just as loaded with bad stuff so I havent drank that, I just want the flavors- too bad they cant put these fun flavors into cocoa- thats so much more innocent.

I'm not big on coffee, I like green tea if I don't have any caffeinated soda, but I love coke! I am kinda addicted to it, but haven't really been craving it with the m/s, I usually only have a can a day which is not much caffeine.

Hey mama I used to work at Starbucks, and we could add the flavor to any drink you want I have been craving a pumpkin spice. I bet that would be good in a steamer. The coco is just milk with vanilla and chocolate. You can get milk with just a flavor....they call that a steamer. Enjoy

I drink one glass of iced coffee in the morning and then sometimes get tea if I am out in the afternoon. I do try to limit my caffeine intake quite a bit though.

I have one cup of coffee every morning - need it to wake up!
I normally drink pepsi - a can or so a day. But I can't handle strong flavors so I'm turned off pop for the time being.
I have no problems getting a treat drink when I want to - it wouldn't be that often and, this time around, it won't be for a good few more weeks.

FWIW, one cup of coffee, or one soda, or one starbucks treat - especially if you're not having it every day - is not going to do or cause anything.
Yes, they've tried to link caffeine to m/c many many times, and they do advise not drinking all caffeine all the time. But it would have to be multiple drinks/cups, each day, to do anything.
take a deep breath, give yourself a treat when you feel the need - I know the yummies that starbucks comes out with for the holiday season - sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy that treat!

Stevia is natural I thought?

ETA: Stevia is only in the vitamin water zero (lo cal) drinks taurine is in a few of them, but not all

I avoid it...mainly because I don't really need caffeine to keep me awake and because decaff versions of things taste just as good to me. so to me its like why bother with it? But if I worked nights or something and needed caffeine to help me function I would stick with 2 cups a day like they say is ok...
