Ok I just called her. I told her:
Me: hey what r u doing
Her: errands u?
Me, decluttering this house again, going through everything
Long awkward silence
Me that's why I called, first i do think u r the worlds greatest babysitter, and I don't won't u to think I'm ungrateful, but before you bring anything over- I need you to discuss it with me. That includes food. They will be eating healthier 7 days a wk.
Her ohhhkay
Me, I know you dont understand it, but this is how it has to be, I mean that. I also want the care and atmosphere on the weekends to be fun, but the rules are the same. They will be the same.
Her, well thanks for telling me I'd rather know than not know.
Me: thank you for understanding, I will leave some notes with reminders
Her: oh that sounds good
And then she told me about neighborhood gossip, which while I dont care about whose doing whom, it helped the awkwardness.

Anyway sorry for typos, got to run- kids are terrorizing each other.

Eta: I got the kitchen done, not as bad as I thought. The worst areas are of coarse the kids rooms and laundry office space.

I hope she takes it seriously. Seems like a very brief conversation for such a long time issue. Good luck mama!!!

Yes I agree. But I don't want to loose her as a babysitter. I really really don't. But honestly, I'm known for being a bear, so perhaps she will remember that as this continues.
It's my fault though, I let it go on, and it's built up and up and up. I should have taken the first bag right back out. I'm dropping the chair off today, so maybe she will get that...I wanted to say why are you doing this when I've asked you not to? But I feel like that needed to be done in person.

Start out that way but also talk to her and make it her job to take HER stuff home.

I'm not sure, she's coming over tomorrow. I will ask her then.
