That's completely idiotic. Doesn't he have actual sick or injured patients to worry about?

The only point in his favor I can think of is that when we saw our ped. GI for ds2's reflux/constipation issues, she did say around 6-8 months is a good "window" for solids in terms of preventing food allergies later, IIRC. But she wasn't nasty about it.
