Make own cloth diapers Oahu

Hi! So I am looking into starting to make my own cloth diapers. But I would love to have someone teach me first! Anyone on Oahu who makes their own cloth diapers who would be willing to give me the basics (btw- I have never sewn before either... I am searching around for a sewing machine now)

Hello... I know this is an old thread but I'm new to cloth diapering here on oahu and I'm starting to sew my own diapers out of things I have here at home. I did however have to buy a sewing machine since the one I have is so old I don't even know how to work it.
Well just wanted to know if you ever started making some and how they turned out?

I learned from some great you tube videos. I been making pocket CD.

That's were I'm getting most of my ideas also. Found a site with free patterns also (not sure what the website was) and using those as practice. It is so much fun.

I'm in the same boat! I've been trying to use the online tutorials and videos, but I have very limited sewing skills. I have been screwing up everything! I'm just trying to make flannel fabric into prefolds and I'm failing. (It looks so easy! grrrr..)

Are you having any luck? I learn best by watching someone or asking questions. Anybody down to give me a lesson? : ) I'm in Makiki!
