HELP!!!!!! Getting a 4 month old to accept a bottle

My 4 month old will not take a bottle.I would love to be able to go on dates with my DH without worrying that DS is going to refuse to eat for grandma. Any advice is welcome! We have tried tommee tippee, ventaire, and avent bottles

Re: HELP!!!!!! Getting a 4 month old to accept a bottle

if it is any consolation DS stopped taking bottles at 2 months. he was a preemie, early by two months and i exclusively pumped for the first two weeks of his life. i was actually worried he wouldn't be able to nurse, but then he started to refuse anything else. no matter what bottle i tried, and i tried almost all of them, he would refuse it, but my milk in a cup was ok. you might try it. it's a little awkward at first, but it is possible. if it doesn't work don't feel bad either. i sympathize!

Try a bunch of different ones... My kid did not like breast flow bottles at all. At 5 months he finally started taking one every time we offer. For a min he chews on it because he is teething and it feels good. We also give him and nuk silicone top sippy and he is starting to drink out of that. He gets mad when I eat and will cry the whole time. So I give him a couple oz I water and let him practice. Keep offering

My son did alright with Breastflow but he did best with MAM. The nipple is a little flattened and he loves it.
