Diaper Rotation question
In your opinion what classifies a diaper rotation as large? Maybe it depends on whether the baby is a NB or toddler or if you have two in diapers, but just to have a general idea, thanks

If you wanted too you could wash maybe every 5-6 days. I can have a huge wash in and still have plenty of diapers left, I consider my rotation large but then there are people with way more too. I have one toddler, I had way more when she was younger.

Not using the same 20 diapers over and over. Having enough to rotate so they all get equal (and therefore less) wear.

I think it depends on size/age. I nb uses about 12, a 1 yr old 8-9, a toddler possibly less. (roughly). So a large stash for a nb would need to be huge, a toddler stash not as big. Its all relative & subjective.

Re: Diaper Rotation question
I'd say 3 rotations (3 separate wash loads full)
ETA: I agree with above poster as well. 1 full wash load for a newborn could be 30 diapers, a full wash (washing every 2-3 days) could be 15 for a toddler.

Re: Diaper Rotation question
I would say using a diaper every 3-4 days. Not the same diaper every day. So 3-4 days worth of diapers.

I would say a stash large enough that you are using each diaper no more than once a week.

Re: Diaper Rotation question
Thanks for all the input
, it's good to have a reference especially when trying to describe wear on diapers.

I realized recently, that if I planned my diaper usage properly, I could go 10-12 days without washing! Of course, I have favorite diapers I use most frequently, but I'd guess that most diapers are used only about once a week.

Re: Diaper Rotation question
I'm aiming to have around 50 diapers. I have 20 now, and each diaper probably gets a turn every other day.
