Re: Grovia Newborn AIOs SUCK! (with pic)

So sorry they were not a good fit for you little one. They were one of the few that did work good when my ds was born in August. I only bought 2 and was always wishing I had a couple more. I hope you find something that works for you.

I got a good fit with my newborn, but he peed through them every time. Not enough absorbency for him

My absolutely favorite NB PUL diaper has been FB XS, it's the only one he can still wear at 6 1/2 weeks. He outgrew the absorbency of all of the others I had (Lil Joeys, BG XS and GroVia). I wish I had bought a whole stash of those, I love them and also could use them at night with a doubler.

Thanks for sharing OP! I've been trying to decide which newborn AIO to go with. Based on your review and some other reviews I think Grovias are off my list.

They looked awfully big in the store, that's why I went w/ BG xs. I hope we have better luck with those. If not, I have a doz flats and a doz nb gmd's that I know will work.

Re: Grovia Newborn AIOs SUCK! (with pic)

here are some other diapers that I thought worked well with minimal to no leaks: small bottombumpers in aplix closure, lil joeys, ragababe newborn aios. Hope your diapering gets better!!! Cloth diapers should be something that makes diapering our kids better...not worse. Hang in there

a previous poster mentioned fuzzibunz....I actually sold those first thing after I had leaks and some gapping at the thighs. Maybe the babies have to grow into them a bit.

Re: Grovia Newborn AIOs SUCK! (with pic)

I had to tighten the waist a LOT and use the lower rise, but they fit my 6 lb man really well in the chicken leg phase. It's all a matter of what works for one might not work for another, I'm sorry you weren't happy with them, but many are. If you had some constructive advice, rather than a rant, they might appreciate it, as a company they are always improving their products, and these are relatively new.
