Do they really do that?!

This.

The post doesn't bother me. Actually, some of the comments do because people take things so seriously. I loved the comment where someone talked about what might be time consuming for one family might be a breeze to another. Whatever works.

Confession: I LOVE disposable diapers. They are easy for me and I don't have to do anymore work after I take it off....until I have to lug off the massive amounts of trash (no rural trash pickup). So I stick with my cute cloth (plus they are loads cheaper).

Some people are never going to find the idea of scraping poop of diapers or washing dirty diapers appealing. I thought it all sounded yucky too, and the only reason I got into cloth was because the papery texture of disposables irritated my baby's skin. I LOVE cloth now, but I was sort 'compelled' to try it. I do think that if I can become a CD enthusiast anyone can, but I for all the CD websites, stores, blogs, vlogs, etc.- it's still kind of under the radar. Most people have never seen a modern cloth diaper. There are tons of ads and TV commercials for disposables, but none for cloth. I know it's because such advertising is so expensive, but at the same time it reaches more people.

I respect peoples decisions either way. But they way she makes cloth sound so bad.... UGH just say it is not right for you and move on. Dont try and make others not do it too by making it sound like a ton of work. I am sorry if you are too lazy to cloth diaper, but keep that to yourself. EH!

People are taking this too far. But us mommies do that with EVERYTHING... dramatic.

She has a bit of an attitude but, overall, what she wrote doesn't bother me. I've noticed that Babble is full of condescending, snarky articles. One reason I no longer read anything on that site.
