Who is using Sbish Sized OBF Fitteds? Do you like them?

How do these hold up over time? Do they get softer? Does the stiffness when the fabric is wet go away? Do they get more pliable over time?

Our SBish OBF fitteds held up well over time, but they lost their softness immediately. Ours did not get softer or more pliable over time. I like the fit and absorbency, but I do not like the stiffness. Most OBF gets stiff at our house. SBish OBF fitteds are so thick and dense that the stiffness seems worse than other diapers. Bamboo terry does stay soft for us though.

The sized fitteds with snaps are OBF. The snapless- multi are bamboo terry with OBF doublers.

Have you tried Ecover? Did it help, or do you still feel they are too stiff? I agree, the bamboo terry does stay soft, but I have not used the sized Sbish long enough to know what they do over time. When did you buy yours? Wondering if the fabric has changed over time. Thank you for your help!

I love them!!! I just got 2 more in a trade. They are newer than my others and softer, but the stiffness never bothered me and they are great for my super soaker. The large ones fit both my chunky 6 month old and my skinny almost 3 yr old so it's a win win for me

Re: Who is using Sbish Sized OBF Fitteds? Do you like them?

I've been using sbish OBF fitteds for about a year now, and they do get progressively stiffer. Ecover helps with the stiffness, but also makes the ammonia and wet dishcloth smell worse.

I love the absorbency of these diapers; they are the only ones that last my DS through the night, BUT that absorbency comes at a price. Because they are so absorbent, they tend to hold onto odours more than prefolds and other diapers. This is easily solved with a couple extra rinses, but the wash routine takes longer with them.

I have tried Ecover. It helped a little, but I did not notice a drastic difference. I bought ours about 1 1/2 yrs ago. They were soft when I got them in the mail, but they started losing their softness before I was even done prepping them. They do not feel rough, just stiff. They really feel stiff when wet. My sister bought some recently. Hers feel softer than mine, but they are still more stiff than her other fitteds.

These are the bulk of our stash right now. We have a bunch of the XL OBF fitteds. They are one of the only diapers that still fits ds. We've only had ours for about 4 months now. They are still as soft as when I bought them.

They are extremely absorbent & even being a very heavy wetter, ds can go cover less in these during the day.

The only downfall is that they are not the most trim diaper. But we're home most of the time & ds doesn't like to wear clothing. For baby clothing, it would be fine. Ds wears a size 4-5 & they aren't really made to be worn over a diaper of any size.
