Diaper Swappers

Well....I was an addict before Zane was even born.

I don't remember what my first purchases were, but I don't think I used them. I know I bought some Dappi covers and nasty AIOs off ebay.

I bought a couple Snappis off a mom that told me about Diaper Pin and MDC. I had a GOOD stash by the time Zane arrived (may have even sold some stuff

). What I used when he came home at 9 days and 5.13 lbs: XS FB, NB LL AIO, KL 0, NB LL fitteds, preemie ubcpfs, NB Green Earth and Prorap covers, NB BSWW, NB Bumpy wool (huge!), NB Stacinator felted wool (ok, but not stretchy) and deluxe fleece (bulky). I had all his NB, small and most of his medium stash bought before he arrived since I knew I'd be off work until September. I "thought" I was CDing to save money.

I started with Happy Heinys, Swaddlebees, and Fuzzi Bunz. Now I love fitteds and wool. But still use my pockets too.

DD#1 wore gerber flats and pull on pants
DS wore gerber pfs with a dappi wrap ( I didn't have internet with either one of them and didn't know there could be anything better)

DD#2, my very first purchanse was 2 doz cpfs and a bunch of different kind of covers

I started CDing when my dd was about 6mths old. I bought 2 dozen reg prefolds (they were 2nds) from some website and i got around 6 covers from ebay. I also got a few used fitteds from ebay as well. The fitteds were okay but i could NOT figure out the prefolds at all. My dd was too skinny for just tri-folding them and i didn't really know how to fold them and i didn't know to use a snappi

So that only lasted a couple months at most and i sold everything back on ebay and pretty much got all my money back. I did keep the prefolds though ~ i didn't think i could sell them for much since they were 2nds and the shipping would be so high anyways.....

I started back up CDing when dd was about 15mths old. I just dove in and got 6 FBs, 3 BG and some good bummi covers from cotton babies. Oh and some snappis this time

I figured out how to use the prefolds i still had. I have been buying and selling ever since and love it!

KLs 0 , HH's, Bumware AIOs and AW QD AIOs xs (sooo cute!!!)
I then also tried FBs and didn't like them for DS when he was tiny -but now I do!

A second hand Bumkins AIO that I bought at a consignment shop along with 2 Bummi's covers that I used with Gerber pfs.

Then I had all Bumkins AIO's.... then it was all Kushies AIO's.... then all pockets and so on LOL!

i got a sampler pack from JMBS. I believe it had prefolds, bumkins covers, proraps and some fuzzi bunz. I hated the bumkins!! We still use proraps on bitty babies and fuzzi bunz sometimes. My first WAHM dipes were WWBs and I was hooked!! LOL

A bunch of pfs and a couple BSWW. I still use the pfs, but had to sell the BSWW b/c DS out grew them.

Now I use mostly pfs w/ wool, some fitteds for night time and some SBs I got on sale. I don't like to experiment much.
