Re: What was your first cloth?

My very first was Gerber brand pf with vinyl pants to cover. I stilllove my pf. My first fitted was one made by a friend as a sample of what they are. I have since ordered a ton more fitteds, but still mix it up.

Re: What was your first cloth?

My first I found on Freecycle. I had wanted to try CDing, but couldn't find a way to justify the cost. Then I saw the post on freecycle for 2 dozen prefolds and 6 BSWW covers....I was the first to respond and got them-they fit my 12 month old perfectly and we were in cloth from there on out (except when he had the flu and was being changed ever 20 minutes).

Re: What was your first cloth?

Well after lurking on diaperpin for weeks, I bought a baker's dozen of Little Beetle Hemp Lites and Originals fitteds with doublers. I also bought Stacinator wool and fleece covers and a Disana wool pull on along with an Aristocrat. I've loved using them all.

To build my stash, I bought a bunch of CPFds and Ipfds and use them snappied under my covers.

I've been happy with all my fluffy mail.

I also bought a few dipes from mamas on here. 2 PW's, 2 Mutts and some other fitteds. Like them all!!!

My very first ones were the fitteds I made for the kids myself. Brookie has outgrown hers, though (sob) but I still have 'em. Don't think I could ever give those away.

Re: What was your first cloth?

About 5 kushies AIOs I bought on ebay for $20 including shipping Then my friend Megan was kind enough to send some PFs, covers, and pockets for me to try. There was a HH in it & I fell in love. So my first MAJOR purchase was 18 medium HHs and 18 wonderfull inserts. Alot of $$ but I loved those diapers & they were all we used...just sold them all to move up in size Now I Have mostly FBs and am working on fitteds/wool stash. Am thinking I'll get some PFs to try too especially if there's gonna be a co-op!

Re: What was your first cloth?

My very first one ever was a NB Cuddle Buns, it is so cute and tiny. That is what got me hooked!! Better story yet is that I was just waisting time by stopping in a local thrift store and there that diaper hung. I almost skipped over it but it seemed thicker than undies to I took a peek and this baby was like new so I decided to snatch it up and went home and started researching all about cloth. That dipe cost me a whopping $1.20 and seriously it is like brand spankin new.

CPF's and stacinator covers I still love my PF's, but now I've switched to pull up wool.
