My exactly 4 month old swiped my daughters banana and put it on his lips

What now, lol. He is not ready. I want to do BLW and let him eat at 6 months. But a few days ago he was on my lap and took a piece of chicken breast off my plate and put it on his mouth (closed)

Should I try not to eat around him or holding him, lol??

He is only breastfeed, he won't even take a bottle of bm. But he is always eyeing my food.

Mommy to Kane 10, Emily 3, Avery 3 months and wife to a AWESOME husband. We're a Cloth diapering, babywearing, extended breastfeeding, extended rear facing, non vaccinating, co sleeping, delaying solids family but most importantly a New testament Christian which means we speak where the bible speaks & are silent where the bible is silent.

I'd probably just let him do it, especially if no food is actually making it in his mouth, but you could always give him a spoon or bowl to play with if the food makes you uncomfortable. DS did this at 5.5 months and that's how I decided he was ready for food (although in his case it *did* make it into his mouth).

Lol my 4 month old did that and shocked me by putting a green bean in his mouth, chewing and swallowing successfully and snatching another!
Married to my best friend, living the navy wife life, and loving every minute of being a SAHM to DS (born July 2011)!
