Other Kids Acting "Strange"
Is anyone else's kids acting strange? My ODD is only 3 1/2, but this last week (around when I realized I was pregnant) she has been absolutely impossible. I wish I could say it was pregnancy hormones making me see her behavior differently, but even my husband (who has been home all week) has said she has being extra challenging this week. Since she's only 3, we haven't told her yet (considering it is SO very early), but should we. Would it change her behavior?

Re: Other Kids Acting "Strange"
My DD is almost 18 months, so obviously she's way too young to understand any of this. She was a NIGHTMARE about a week and a half ago for a week, though. And today she wouldn't nap at all. I know other things are going on (molars, we just moved, we flew across country, etc.), but she's been way more difficult lately than ever before.
On the other hand, the other day I was lying on the couch not feeling well because of some ms, and she was very affectionate with me and brought me her favorite stuffed cat, her baby doll, and a wad of paper (quite a gift as she loves trash ). It was sweet! I think she understood that I wasn't feeling well even if she has no idea about what pregnancy is. Babies and kids can be in tune with other people more than we expect, I think.

When I got preggo with YDS my older 2 seemed to turn evil! Not even joking.. The would do the most horrid things to me/ each other ( and they are so good most of the time) I was so sad by this, somedays I felt like I shouldn't have gotten pregnant ( I know horrible right) this happened the whole pregnancy and stopped once YDS was born. This time around with number 4 they don't seem to be doing as bad, but they are fighting more then normal.
My DH who spent this long weekend at home got so upset by how they acted, that they spent a lot of time on time out or alone time in there rooms. He now u dear stands why they have been making me crazy! Lol this has also been a hard pregnancy so fare, I am so tired, bloated, and sick most of the time I don't feel like I can do much about it. I am just hoping things lighten up around the house as the holidays wined down and a new year comes to us. Just give it some time, I believe that the can tell when we have something going on in our bodies ( they did co me out of it) things should settle down a bit in a few months.

My son is almot 21 months old and he's turned into a complete terror! He's been super whiny and clingy and having temper tantrums like crazy! I'm about to pull out my hair!

Re: Other Kids Acting "Strange"
mama.... just keep in mind that 3 1/2 is a REALLY.HARD.AGE! Seriously. The terrible twos is such a misnomer, when it should be the terrible 3's. And yeah, I think the kids can tell something is up.... we haven't told our kids yet (ages 5, 3, and 1) and they have been challenging too. Hopefully they'll be better after we tell them, and I can give them a reason for Mama being tired and sick!

Re: Other Kids Acting "Strange"
Funny thing is, I haven't been tired or sick. A little grumpy, but otherwise our normal selves. She has just started hitting and screaming and everything she wasn't! Fighting bedtime. She's just been awful. And I hate it.
