Re: Sicker with boys or girls?
I've heard it, but don't believe it.
With every pregnancy I've had, it's gotten easier. My first, I was pretty sick, throwing up any time of day every day for weeks. My second, I was nauseated all the time, but only threw up now and then. My third I was nauseated a lot but only threw up 2 or 3 times. My fourth (my dd), I was occasionally nauseated (though it did start earlier with her) but only threw up once. This pregnancy (we're thinking girl), I had a few days where I felt nauseated but did not throw up at all.

Re: Sicker with boys or girls?
I wasn't sick at all with my first two girls. Pregnancy number three was my hardest! I was REALLY sick in the beginning!! Everyone was saying it was a boy since it was so different than the other two. Nope, everyone was a tad surprised when out came girl number 3
I feel GREAT with this pregnancy! In fact, if I didn't have a growing belly and some ultrasound pictures I may not yet believe that I was even preggo! People can guess as they please but I think my mom knows better now....she said she's not saying a WORD about what she thinks this time

Re: Sicker with boys or girls?
My OB told me that it was true and I was a little more sick this time. But I don't get sick really at all so that's not saying much!

Re: Sicker with boys or girls?
I don't know what I am having this time yet.....BUT I was SUPER SUPER sick with my son. This time it has been soo different....I get nauseated but nothing like my son, I ended up in the ER a few times for fluids with him. I think it's a girl this time, it's just too extremely different. We'll see in a month and half

Re: Sicker with boys or girls?
I've never heard of that! I have a boy though and while I did feel kinda pukey for awhile, I never got sick enough to actually throw up.

Re: Sicker with boys or girls?
I get VERY sick for about 3 months will all my preganncies...boy or girl (got 2 of each) to where i end up dehydrated in the hospital...etc.
but I have to say with the boys I was more (looking for a good term that is polite) sexually interested (horny) once I was well again. Also when I was preggo with the boys I felt better...shiney hair, etc. With the girls it was just the opposite. ~denise |
