Aww, thanks :-)

It's taken me a long time to get it this way, and it's taken an even longer time for me to learn how to KEEP it that way with three kids 4 and under!

i never even thought about minimizing the outside of our house, i landscape so there is lots of half worked through ideas with brick, fountains and retaining walls that probably need to go (definately looks more like a junkyard than a landscaper's yard)

OK I just realized these are completely not right UGH. Ok the top 3 sets the in progress is on the LEFT and the before is on the RIGHT but the last one is switched. Sorry

ETA: sorry the pictures are kind of small. That big brown box is stuff to leave and the biggest improvement is moving my sewing area out of the living room and into the closet (we got rid of 3/4th of the kids toys which freed up an entire closet so I repurposed it to my sewing space )
i like how you put the pictures above the bookcase, it seems like it would prevent you from throwing stuff up there

It really has. You can kinda tell in the before pics that there was a ton of random stuff of there. I also had pictures everywhere and am trying to focus them

I have a LONG way to go but I have made a lot of progress.

Your my hero. I agree your home is beautiful. I struggle just to keep the laundry done with my 2 girls ages 3 and 1 1/2.

Re: anyone have before and after pics of how they've gone minimal?

I will not be able to do before pics since ours involve a move. But I am starting with over 50 shipping boxes and hoping to cut that dramatically. Once I get at least partially unpacked, I can take some pics.

Our move is next Thursday.
