Our 1st Ultrasound!

So I'm a little late updating this, but the day before Thanksgiving, we had our 1st ultrasound. The u/s tech estimated my DD at July 2, and she said the heartbeat was 168 beats/minute.
That sounds like it's another girl, doesn't it?

I don't know why, but this doesn't seem real yet. I mean, in my head, I know it is, but when I tell people, I feel like I'm lying.

I've also been feeling very apathetic lately. I just don't really care to do anything. Is this common? I've been pretty unhappy at work this year - I don't know if it's hormones or if I really do need to find a new job... but I don't know where I should start looking. All my education was to prepare me for a career in teaching.

I feel the same way. We haven't really made a big deal out of telling people because it does not seem real.

I teach and I find that by the end of the semester, everybody is burnt out and could care less. That is why we have winter breaks

I'm also feeling blah but I'm a sahm... I was a teacher and in a high school at this time of year I always wanted to quit. I'll be homeschooling my kids when they are old enough.

Yay! Yeah, 168 sounds like girl. That's about what dd was and ds was more around 140. I know what you mean about feeling so blah. Some days its all I can do to get dishes and laundry done. :/ all I feel like doing is sitting around eating and napping. First trimester is usually like this for me though....

Interesting cause my baby was 171. I wonder if it'll be a girl!!! anyways congrats

Our heartbeat was 169 but my DD was in the 180s so it's lower than hers...
