We found out a couple weeks ago that we are expecting #3! I am excited, but sick.
This will be our third c-section. (Please, please...no hate....) I'm really nervous about it. But I have a great doctor and awesome hospital!!
I haven't gone to the dr. yet. The office is almost an hour a way, and with two little kids that will be no piece of cake. So after the holidays I guess I better get something set up. Is it crazy that I'm praying for twins??

Congrats mama! Don't think it is too crazy. We are done after this one and I sometime feel like having twins would be a blessing. Always wanted 4, but we are stopping at 3. I don't know if my sanity could hold with two more. We'll see in 13 days how many little beans are there.

Congrats - and welcome! I don't think you'll encounter any hate around this due date group. So far we seem to have an awesome, chill, supportive bunch of women! Glad you're joining us!

Yay! Congrats! DD was a breech baby and ended in a C section. I am on the fence on what I want to do for this one pregnancy. I was contemplating a VBAC but now I thinking a Csection / tubal combination might work best for me. (Yesterday I saw two heartbeats, but there is also a 3rd sac that the doctors are monitoring) At my age, I need no more babies after this pregnancy, especially if my ovaries are popping out eggs like the candy machine!

I certainly don't hate anyone for having c-sections, but I do hate what society and the medical community has done to what women think they are allowed or not allowed to have with regards to the birth they are hiring doctors and nurses to help with! I hate every time a women is lied to about and/or forced into a first or second or third unnecessary c-section. I hate it when women are lied to about being unable to breastfeed or having to quit or it not being as good as formula. I hate when doctors refuse to let women eat during labor, or move around, or give birth in the position most comfortable for them. I hate it when uneducated nurses tell women that routine procedures in delivery and the post-partum period are "state law" when they really aren't. I hate it when choices in birthing are taken out of women's hands, and it makes me sad when women don't even care.

I don't know what your history is or what your reasons are, and I truly think that is your business. I am so grateful for c-sections and other medical interventions when they are truly life-saving. The lives of loved ones of mine have personally been touched thanks to advances in modern obstetrics. But I didn't want you to go on thinking that natural child-birthing women just blindly go around "hating" women who have c-sections. Throwing that term around is unfair.
