Are you ever happy with your stash?

I desperately want to reach stash nirvana and I am verrrrrry slowly reaching that point. I'm planning a major destash soon, and hopefully over the next couple of months I will achieve my goal of stash nirvana. The great majority of my dream stash will be Bumstoppers fitteds.

I am more or less. Ds can't wear PUL so that limits the choices tremendously. I have a few stashes (bamboo preflats, hemp pfs, cotton pfs, bamboo fitteds) to play with. I've given away a bunch and have recently sold several of dd's PUL dipes. I also discovered that it's fairly easy to sew diapers. It's much cheaper and very satisfying!

I'm pretty much always happy, but it doesn't stop me from wanting more! I am at the point where I need to sell before I buy, and just have to pass up all of the great deals out there. And wait until #2 is here and I actually have one in diapers LOL. Then if things aren't working I can start searching/shopping again, or destashing as we outgrow sizes.

I wasn't happy with my stash for two years, then I found my match. It also helps that once I did find the 'love', I didn't come back to DS for a long, long time. That way I don't get tempted by the pretty stuff.
My match? Its double layered flats (heavier GMD birdseye on the outside, folded in flour sack towel on inside) using my double kite fold, and on the outside a OS WoolWraps. I also keep a couple ME airflow covers on hand for when I have been distracted (I won't say lazy ) and the wool covers have been neglected and all need to be relanolized at once.

I absolutly love my stash right now! I went from diapers to yarn, and my diapers are plain and simple which I just adore right now! We'll see if it last, but if I keep adding yarn and woolies to my stash, I think my diaper contentment will continue!

after a huge streamlining destash, YES I am stashified. Honestly, for me the constantly buying and trying new things was what made me *not* reach stash nirvana. Now that I have all the same type (we have a full stash of pockets- FBs and WAHMs and fitteds for nighttime) I don't feel the need to be shopping all the time. sometimes less is more!

I think yeah, if you find a brand that works for you. I've been happy with my stash for over a year. Bought a couple Flip covers for trips and some hemp inserts for more absorbency along the way, but for the most part, my 24 OS FB's have fit my and DD's needs perfectly. Expecting another baby in June... we'll see how well the stash holds out then. :-)

I've always been happy with my stash, but have also been very open to add more to the happiness!

A few dipes have not suited DS, but I've always had enough good stuff to keep me happy while selling or trading my not so sucessful purchases.

I look at our wool the same . Ds2 has only 3 pairs of pants that are not wool. I Prefer wool over PUL and ds2 doesn't fit regular clothes well. Too chunky. I can make upcycled wool pants to fit cheap. Once taxes come in and we finish the switch to all flats I think I will be happy with what we have 'till potty training.
