Thank you for starting such a great and helpful thread! My bub is 10months and 20lbs, i have i dozen large ub diaper rite prefolds which i have been using but folding down a fair bit of rise.. I am in the process of ordering some GMD reds to see if they will fit a little trimmer for now. I am just hoping i can still snappi and pin these on bubs.

I have....um...*cough*....a few prefold pics to share!

18 months old, ~23 lbs, somewhat average to slim build. This is a GMD medium red-edge:





4 months, about 14.5 lbs - small size GMD yellow edge. This one happens to be a "second" quality prefold, which is a tiny bit shorter than average. This pic is also my avatar and its on the GMD website.





She grew to 12 months, about 18 lbs...and the yellows STILL fit. She outgrew the absorbancy mostly because I was changing SO often using these so I stuck to reds.



Zabi lavender (medium) on DD ... approx 13 months old and about 19 lbs. LOVE the fit of this one, nearly prefold perfection. Great for kids who haven't grown into reds yet, but need a medium size.





Just turned 3 yrs old, at the time about 33-34 lbs. Slender build boy, fit in the GMD red edge, I couldn't believe it:









I hope these are helpful. Many of you have already seen tons of these pics but it fits the reason for the post.

Love! What do you think are the best shape for a skinny newborn, say around 7 pounds? I'm already thinking about my second that's not even baking yet .

I wish I had seen it before I bought my new pf's (a dozen DR large) because I might have gone with the wide baby instead. My dd is currently wearing Imagine medium, but she's short and round with big thighs (17 pounds 4 ounces, but only 26.5 inches long, 10 months old on Friday.) They are a little bit tough to Snappi, especially if she's getting wiggly.

But the large ones are pretty big on her. Fortunately, I also bought 18 flats, so those might be the answer for us until she grows into the larges. And also I might just be finding the love of flats, so we will see!

You mean for when baby is older? Cuz zabi lavender won't fit a newborn.

Well one of these pics was like 12lbs in a lavender.. I expect this baby to be about 8-9.. I don't want the oranges they look like they would last a week.. Are they not the lavenders in those pics with the newborn?
