Appetizer Suggestions

We decided to have appetizer/snack type foods for Christmas Eve and would love some suggestions.

We are already having:

Crab Dip
Sticky Meatballs(cranberry/chili sauce)
Buffalo Chicken Wontons

but want one or two more things. I would love some ideas please. Links and or posted recipes would be much appreciated. Thank you

Wrap any cheese or deli meat in crescent roll dough and bake as directed.

Grate parmesan 1/4" deep on a pan lined with parchment and bake at 400 until golden and evenly melted. Remove from parchment and break into "crackers."

Slice a chèvre log into wheels, top with pecans and drizzle with honey.

I use one can of cranberry sauce or grape jelly and a bottle of chili sauce. My grandmother uses frozen meatballs but I make my own because I am picky

Sounds delicious! Love appetizers.

I really enjoy the cream cheese block with hot pepper jelly over it served with crackers.

A lot of people seem to like the ham rollups with cream cheese and a pickle inside.

Taco dip is another favorite, and guacomole is so tasty too.

Some little sandwiches on croissants might be popular- like maybe chicken salad?

Mmm my girlfriend made this recently, cream cheese with apricot chutney poured over it, then top with crumbled bacon, serve with crackers, bread, celery.... A twist on the regular cream cheese/jelly dip.

Re: Appetizer Suggestions

We do appetizers too. I am making -

* crap dip and bread (we only have crab dip on Christmas)
* a cheese plate and a few different kinds of crackers
* chicken liver pate
* raw veggies and dip
* tortilla chips and either salsa or a queso dip depending on if anyone wants
make it
* hot artichoke dip
* shrimp cocktail

Now I want to make those sausage rolls and some guacamole too. Darn it! I was hoping to avoid going to the stores. Oh well, they sound so good I am sure it will be worth i!

Oh, I also make a couple batch of cookies. I always make Snickerdoodles and this year everyone (dh) agrees that Santa (dh) would really like chocolate chip. Oh, and we have sparkling cider and egg nog for special beverages.
