Confused...

None of my friends IRL know we are TTCing right now, so I have no one to talk this over with. So, lucky you guys, get to hear it!

I am on day 40 of this cycle. I have long cycles, typically 33-36 days...but usually not all the way to 40. I've taken 2 pg test, both neg, and haven't been feeling pg either, so I'm guessing I'm not, but...where in the heck is AF???

I had two days of brown spotting (very light) April 2nd and 3rd that I thought *maybe* was implantion spotting (with my long cycles, I have a hard time keeping track of ovulation short of temping, which I haven't gone to yet), but if it was, I'd have a pos test by now, right?

I'm just really confused. I just want AF to come, so we can move on to our next cycle (and maybe try some OPK's...I'm trying to avoid temping..yuck) OR start getting some pg signs. In the past, I've shown signs a few days before AF was due, so...

Hugs Mama.... I don't know what is up w/ your cycle, but just try to relax. Do you have the dollar store pregnancy tests? If so, you won't feel so guilty by testing every few days!

Now that's a good idea... I just spent another $11 on two tests...$1 each sounds much better!

Wouldn't hurt to ask the OB, huh? I'm sitting here at day 42, with another BFN, so my guess is they'd humor me.

It's really hard trying not to get my hopes up, even though I'm most likely not pregnant. Just the idea that I *might* be is hard for me to ignore.

I much prefer the blissful state of "surprise" pregnancies.

preggo tests on ebay can be very inexpensive...and you can get a big bunch at once.

It could just be late. Last cycle mine was a week and half late. I would just get the dollar tests and keep on testing till you get a BFP or af. Oh, and you can take your temp by putting it in your mouth. Both ways work. Good luck!
