Oils for wet bag?

I'm ready to add oil to the diaper pail to reduce some stink! From what I've read, I need a couple drops of tea tree and/or lavender oil.

Any brand recommendations for either? I'd like to order them on Amazon. Also, how many drops of each or both should I use?

I would suggest eucalyptus oil, its powerful but smells yummy. Tea tree is not my fav oil. I get mine from the coop I can't remember the brand and I can't get motivated to get my big old preggo self up to go check. It's a blue bottle? They aren't organic, I don't buy organic for EOs that aren't going on the body.

Ad far as how much start with 3 drops and add more if you think you need it.

I LOVE the Mandarin orange scented oil from The Body Shop. I put a few drops on the hot light bulbs on our lamps to make the room smell good, and I also put it in my diaper pail. It smells so fresh and clean. I especially like using it on my travel wet bag in my diaper bag, it makes my bag smell so good.

Thanks for the tips do far! I had no idea you could put oil on a bulb like that. In fact, I don't think I've ever used any essential oil for anything so it's all new to me. I really just need to cut the stink! I nearly gag when I dump the diapers into the washing machine.

What an assume idea! I'm stealing it!

I use Lavendar and tea tree oils. I buy them from a health place down the street from me. The are organic, but I bought them to put on my babes. No matter what you buy, I believe essential oils should be sold in dark bottles and have no rubber droppers. I read that this can deterioate the oils (if I remember that correctly; I googled when first learning about oils

Am I brain dead today? Do you just shake a few drops in & the pul is OK? Or do you put it on a wipe or something? I want to do this! Toddler poop is awful even when most goes in the toilet!
