My sweet Garett, God love her, prompted me to start this thread as the story I'm about to tell still has me laughing everytime I think about it...

Today I was on the phone with my precious 16 yo daughter, Garett, discussing the time schedule for her band concert that was this evening. After confirming the details, I told her I had something else to tell her to which she responded, "what?"
ME: Levi (her 1 yo little brother) is going to be promoted.
GARETT: Promoted?! He's 1. What could he be promoted to?!
ME: He's going to be promoted from little brother to big brother!
GARETT: Why?!

It was hysterical! She died laughing when she finally realized what I was saying, which fortunately was just a few seconds later, & that she had just said "why" to it.
