Re: Let's talk HC fitteds ...

B4 newborns were my all time favorites! They fit the earliest and the longest and had awesome absorbency. I love all the soaker options with them.

My favorite fitted now is Tangerine baby hybrid fitted. I LOVE these diapers, they are incredible and the mama that makes them is super sweet. They fit my 3 month old AND my 2.5 year old.

Haven't tried all those, but I like my mutts and love my BSRB's, especially this new version she has out. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those makers, they all make quality products.

Re: Let's talk HC fitteds ...

I didn't vote b/c I like more than one brand. I like B4's for night and day use (I take a soaker out for day time, sometimes two out depending on the time of the day), I like Megaroos and BRSB for nights, I like BBB, Mutts and Twinkie Tush (though you have to stalk for these) for day use. I have a couple of Megaroos for days that I liked before my already skinny girlie started to slim down from walking and now the legs are a bit big for her, if I have the rise correct, but this is not a problem unique to Megaroos, she's hard to fit overall b/c she is tall and thin. For sized diapers I love Gaia's Teasures.

ETA: For onesized diapers with a fold over rise (ala Goodmama) I have to use the diapers that have a larger front panel, otherwise my DD ends up with snap impressions on her hips. B4's, TT and BBB all work well for this reason.

I actually made the poll so you could vote for more than one.

I feel your pain on the "fit". My DD1 had the opposite problem: suoer-chunk thighs, short rise, average waist (now she's just evenly solid - not husky, but compact). GM's and Sbish are so far the only fitteds that fit her well, but I'm disliking the Sbish as toddler funk goes. Velour is more wash-friendly.
Meanwhile, DD2 is lanky - Muttaquin 3SR's fit her best of everything I've tried. Using the Sbish until she hits solids stage; then I'm shifting over to velour interiors exclusively. Who knows what will fit best then ...? I'd love it if I could sew hers by then, but I doubt I'll have the time ...
