2,012 items in 2012

I didn't count but I have purged a ton in the last year. I am down for 2013 in 2013 but I am sad that I probably have over 2000 items in my home that I could live without. I will be happy when these challenges become impossible because I have achieved my minimalism goal and only live with what I need and truly love.

38 down though! I went through books today.

So, 69 total for the year... well, since taking count anyway. I haven't kept everything I've had all year long until now. We do take out the trash occasionally.

Do what you want. Some people count them individually. With anything paper wise I count 1 bag out the door as 10

^good idea! After supper I am moving kids toys back down to the toy room and going to start purging tonight. So sick of the clutter and constant need to move stuff around so I'm just going to donate and toss like crazy.

Hey ladies! Been along while since I have posted...i have been decluttering off an on but not keeping track! Grrrrr...so going to jump back in where I left off counting (1,640) and go from there...we r moving in december so maybe I will get the year finished out if I work at it the next couple weeks. Donated 5 garbage bags full to gw: 150. Total 1,790. (222 left to go!

So, I did the math. We only need 5.5 items per day to hit the year's goal! That makes it sound really easy, doesn't it?

Yay! Congrats to those who hit your goal. I think I did but lost track. I am in for 2013 for sure. This has really helped my household run more smoothly.
