My MIL is here... freaking out. Drunk. UUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH. Screaming and asking us why Joe's ex-gf won't let her see her son. We don't know. We told her to not be drunk when she goes over there and she completely flipped out on us and started screaming about everyone else being drunk in this town. Yeah....

Stinks Crystal! I hate family drama, mine doesnt drink but the lack of drinking does not stop the tantrums.
Good news of the day its only $2800 to fix the water main. Not to use the word only lightly for that much $$ we thought it was going to be 10k, so its an thankful only to us.

Fluffy mail came today! So so much fun, I had forgotten since I hadn't gotten any since July. And my FSOT seems to be selling pretty well, now to just talk myself into listing the rest of it....

Yeah I didn't realize there was a board of here. I didn't post much on the due date board but read a lot it was nice to see others r going though same things. I bounced back between boards as I had dd on July 29 with me edd being the 30. I will be back to read the thread.

Crystal you are seriously talented. How long did it take you to learn to knit? Did you teach yourself or take a class? I would to learn but honestly, I am terrible about making myself follow through with things and I think the first time I messed up I'd give up. Senia's stuff is adorable!! And so is that puppy!

Today was Nathans party and it went really well! Two friends from school and their moms came plus my grandparents. It was low key but we got a lot of time to chat and the kids played. I am really excited though because they invited
me to have a playdate on Monday morning. I have been praying for this!

How is everyone's weekend? Any fun plans?

Thanks Britt! It didn't take me long to learn the basics- I taught myself using knittinghelp.com. I know a lot of people use youtube but I always forget it's there. Once you get a couple basic stitches down you can do a lot. A soaker is just casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, a couple simple decreases, and grafting between the legs. It was the first thing I made after making a rectangle to learn how to knit and purl. I'm usually a perfectionist and I hate making mistakes, but I tell myself that I'll knit a million more things so if there's a little mistake I can't worry about it.

I am EXHAUSTED. I've been running like crazy since 8:30 this morning when me and the older girls got haircuts. Then was Walmart, swimming b-day party for a friend's dd, shopping at Walmart again, and now a friend's coming over for supper. Can't wait til it's done, the kids are in bed, and we can relax and eat ice cream, lol!

Hey! Well its been a busy holidays...I had my parents and inlaws here for 2 weeks...I survived at least.haha
My oldest boy turned 3 new years eve! We had a small cars theme party here and he got a new swingset outside!
Micah is doing great..sleeping all nite. And droooling tons..anyone start cereals yet ffor fun?
