I did the baking soda test and no fizzle! I really want a girl! But I have a feeling it is another boy, after four boys already.

Lol, never heard of these before. I'm trying to picture DH's reaction when I would boil red cabbage and tell him what I'm doing You ladies are keeping track and letting us know what is right according to u/s right? I don't think I'm going to find out until birth day.

Re: Cabbage Test (has anyone tried it before)

so I was thinking that I wanted to try the cabbage thing just for the fun of it, but it sounded like too much work for my unmotivated self... I am super excited about trying the baking soda one :-) I have loads of that on hand.

So in our group the baking soda test is already 0-1.

A friend of mine did this and she already knows what she is having and it was right for her. Anyone else know what they are having and try the baking soda or cabbage?

Does it need to be FMU for the baking soda test too?

Re: Cabbage Test (has anyone tried it before)

Allie, I did it in the middle of the afternoon. I'm wondering if its affected by how hydrated you are. (For example, I'm still sick and pretty dehydrated. I wonder if the results would be different on a day I can drink!)
