Re: Natural remedies for heartburn?
I have noticed for me that wheat in the afternoon/evening triggers heartburn. I had it terribly with my first and it started around 24 weeks with this one. I figured out a few weeks ago that wheat seemed to be a trigger, so I've been avoiding eating it after 3 or 4 in the afternoon, and I've had almost no heartburn! When I'm not pregnant I have no problem with wheat/gluten, but it sure does seem to have an affect right now. The morning is fine, though.
For dinner I have some sort of meat and veggies with butter and maybe rice or potatoes, but no bread. That means no dessert with gluten/wheat, either!
