Re: Nursing pads

I guess I don't get the bamboobies. How to you place the heart shape & why is it better than round or contoured? Pampered Mama's look great, and reasonably priced to. I haven't tried them, but I'm considering some from Homestead Emporium. They are contoured and teardrop shaped, which looks like it would really help with bunching.

Re: Nursing pads

i'm in the market for heavy leaker nursing pads. i have a pair of bamboobies overnights that i wear during the day and 2 out of 3 times i wear them i end up feeling damp on the outside of my bra during the afternoon/evening. i have other thinner pads that i have to change out 3 or more times during the day. plus i usually have to change bra and shirt as well. kinda wondering if i'd be better off getting a box of lansinoh disposables.
i do unclasp my bra and hold a prefold to my breast that isn't nursing to catch leaks. at night i go without a bra but sleep with a premium prefold folded in thirds over my breasts and it's usually soaked in the morning. talk about a heavy wetter. DD also gets up 2 times during the night to nurse still.

I'm right there with you. I was using disposable ones but they can get expensive. I bought 2 boxes of those cloth ones from, I think meijer....I go through about 3 pairs a day...depending. I didn't realize nursing pads could come in absorbencies. That's pretty nifty!

I make some in my etsy shop (You pick size and fabrics depending on how 'heavy duty' you need and etc)

Re: Nursing pads

I got some Lanacare wool nursing pads that are sooooooooooooo soft, I was actually slightly disappointed that I never had to use them.

(btw, if anyone is ISO ... I'm going to FSOT them when I get approved ... brand new in packaging, 2 sets).
