What to eat during labor

I plan on making a Kale smoothie.. easy on the stomach and an energy boost.. Maybe some trail mix, yogurt? Not really sure, this is my first and I hear alot of people say they don't have much of an appetite.. so we'll see~

hm good post. I didnt want any food when laboring with yds but it was pretty short.

I didn't want food. It was hard enough to drink. But I would never have had the energy for long labors that way. So I agree with the pp's. High energy, easily digestable, healthy foods.

I didnt want to eat but both were long labors and last time the MWs wanted me to eat so they kept bringing me stuff every couple hours and I'd take a few bites. I remember them bringing me a bagel with cream cheese which I was actually able to enjoy but other stuff they tried I just really didn't want anything to do with. I don't even remember what else they tried. I did drink some juice and constantly sipped my water tho.
