Question new born stash?

Ok I didn't know about the "new" cloth diapers till after my ds turned 2. I used the prefolds with both kids, & I am leaning in NOT doing that again!!!
So the question is what is your favorite newborn diaper??

Re: new born stash?

I had fitteds and some AIOs last time. A couple Lil' Joeys, and I don't remember other brands lol. I have to get them back from my friend. I did have some Cloth for Your Angel fitteds that I really liked.

Re: new born stash?

I am not telling till after I buy all the ones I need from FSOT!!!

Just kidding! I am a fitteds fan! I LOVED Kissaluvs with my DD when she was a newbie. I love wool covers, mostly pull on for later but for NB I am trying to get wraps. I will also be buying some gender specific diapers starting March 8th! :P

I am also buying some pockets for church..... I Think.....

I am going to start a thread of Newborn stash soon so we can show what we have new for the newbie as we get it..... It is so much more fun to show off the stash to others who obsess with it too!!

Re: new born stash?

My favs were Very Baby AIO w/quick dry flaps (and modified inners to be similar to BG Elementals). And fitteds too, but I didn't have any covers, so they were nice for around home. I like the BG NB's too, but I hate velcro, so would love 'em more with snaps.
I really want to try Grovia NB's this time (since we love GroVia with DD now).
=)

Re: new born stash?

I will be getting Lil Joeyz. I also like the groVia but heard from a lot of people that they don't hold a lot. Just saw the Kawaii NB which are really cute too.

Re: new born stash?

Call me simple, but I love the fit of prefold/snappi/cover on a newborn. I like folding it to fit just right. And they wash up so nicely!

It's been a long time since dd was a newbie. I'm looking forward to trying out some wool, longies (or shorties for summer) and whatever is 'new' out there!

Re: new born stash?

I bought some of everything for use with DS2. In the end I liked pefolds the best. But I never found a cover I really liked. I am going to buy a few little joeys this time. I hear great things about them.

Re: new born stash?

I used a little bit of everything when DS was a nb. I liked them all Thats my problem, I can never choose just one kind. Fitteds and prefolds are GREAT for nb poop, though, they absorb so well and I never had leaks. And a lot of time, you don't even need covers if you are just around the house- they have such tiny pees pockets/AIO are also great for ease of use. I'm so excited to get more use out of my nb stash for this baby.

Lil joeys were just on sale on ecobaby.com and I seriously considered a few. In the end I just got a few RARZ that I knew I would get SO much more use out of, especially since my LOs tend to be born big.
