BTW, I would NEVER use one of these for when my baby is sleeping. For general fussy times, OK. But the most up-to-date research on child development indicates that it is safest for babies to NOT fall into super deep sleep (higher risk of SIDS) and that the startle reflex (Suppressed in a swaddle situation) is a self-protective measure.

You can google Dr. James McKenna and the Mother-Baby Sleep Institute of Notre Dame.

Re: Woombie coop

that is really interesting on the swaddle to sleep thing.... all my babies have slept swaddled. They couldn't sleep without it!!

And I did find out that you have to have 50 posts and 10 positive transactions. Which I have but need to get some reviews in for some sellers!

i don't mean to be a booger, but how can you control the sleeping habits of babies? i always see babies in "deep sleep" with wildness and loud noises all around them. aren't they "swaddled" in the womb anyway? i didn't research anything, just my humble opinion and my logical thinking. i'm a little skeptical with Dr. and their "research", i really don't know who to trust.

Re: Woombie coop

I agree with you Bekah.

I personally think that a number of things can cause SIDS and the doctors are just not sure what, so they try to make their best recommendations on what to do and not to do. All of their suggestions are to trying to prevent SIDS, but it's not a guaranteed way.

The babies are much more scrunched up in the womb than they are in woombie. Some woombie's are even stretchy so they baby can move.

Anywho, not trying to start a debate, just my
