Re: Woombie coop

Thanks for letting us know, I need to talk to DH and see if we can do this or not. Though I've never done a true coop before so I'm a little nervous!

You can google Dr. James McKenna and the Mother-Baby Sleep Institute of Notre Dame.
That's interesting information! We used these for DD, she had to be swaddled because she'd scratch at her eczema and end up bleeding and waking herself up, and keeping herself from going to sleep. They were the only things to keep her swaddled once she got older, but she could definitely still get out of them. She'd pop hands out the neck all the time! She even got unzipped one night, and DH and I still have no clue how.

Ohh... look what I found...

How funny... It looks like someone just sewed up the arm holes in one of those sleep sacks :-)

Re: Woombie coop

Woombies are awesome. They are nowhere near as restricting as swaddling. Swaddling to me is like a straight jacket where woombies are more like the woomb.. they can move around, kick, and dd could even get her little hand out of the top to suck her fingers. It has just the right amount of tightness to give babies a secure feeling.

And I did find out that you have to have 50 posts and 10 positive transactions. Which I have but need to get some reviews in for some sellers!
i 'qualify' too but can't get in either.

It took me awhile to find it... You have to go to your user cp, then under networking in the left sidebar click group memberships (http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/...editusergroups)

Then the second one down says "Co-Op Participants (minimum of 50 posts AND 10 postive feedback) " fill the bubble that says join group and click the button at the bottom to join group....

I don't know what happens after that cause I still can;t do it yet.... LOL
