My doc told me because if you need an emergency csection they want you to have an empty belly. but another doc told me because you might vomit (i did during my first labor and delivery A LOT lol) they dont want you to choke on food that may come up.

Oh I wanna know. I've thought about making one before but i can't walk a straight line to save my life, can't trace a straight line to save the world therefore I am NOT going to attempt to make any clothing that requires lines.

Hmmm...it can get messy during a delivery. I think I'll just use the free ones in the hospital. Those are nice looking though!

You can google a free pattern and make one yourself.

Curecouture.com has some really cute things, but $50 for a gown seems a little much, so maybe I will try to make some, too.

Re: Nursing Hospital Gown?

Hi Mamas! The gowns I make start at only $38, including shipping- price just depends on the fabric selected. Unlike the more expensive gowns ($50+!) you see on Etsy, and other places, mine have hidden nursing access in the front, so you don't have to unsnap the shoulder and leave it hanging open while you nurse!

As a pp mentioned, I will be babymooning soon- starting March 1st!

I can't tell from your listing, but is the gown open in the back?

Really cute mama! Will you be back making them in July? or should we get it before then?
