Soap Nuts, good or not?
I found the following in one source regarding Soap Nuts:
Can I use soap nuts to safely and effectively wash cloth diapers? Yes! Soap nuts are found to be the best detergent for washing cloth diapers. They effectively eliminate all lingering smells. They will ‘strip’ the cloth diapers of detergent build-up, increasing the diaper’s absorbency! I also found a recent post from this forum about Soap Nuts: What about Soap Nuts? Sure, they seem to have decent surfactant properties. I have not used them, but the research is good. You should add washing soda and oxy though, as they are JUST surfactant, no water softener in there. Hmm... should I stay with the commercial detergent or give Soap Nuts a try? Advertisement |

I don't know the answer but I'm interested to see what others say.

Re: Soap Nuts, good or not?
I did not like soap nuts, they just didn't do a darn thing for my clothes. And I have soft city water.
