Re: if you could choose when baby is born

Spring because my other 4 have b-days in fall-winter, and summer is too hot to be hugely pregnant!

Re: if you could choose when baby is born

I have a fall baby( nov) and 2 spring babies( march, may) so far. This one is due june, this is the month i actually picked to have a baby- you don't think about these things with #1 or #2 but this is #4 for me and it is incredibly hard to have to shuttle kids back and forth to school, practice, recitals all this extra stuff during the school year. When you have older kids its REALLY nice to have the baby right at the end of the school year so that you can just rest and babymoon through the summer and not have to worry about schedules ect. I feel so thankful that it worked out for me to have a june baby- not to mention no sickies in the summer and you can take baby out without having to bundle up or out run the rain

Re: if you could choose when baby is born

I'm due in March and I think that ended up being a great due date. It was nice to be pregnant when it wasn't hot and humid out! I did miss being able to have a celebratory drink during the holidays. But I'm looking forward to having my baby during Spring and being able to take him out once summer comes.

Re: if you could choose when baby is born

Spring. I was due early May with DD and she came mid-April, which was about perfect, really. The only issue with birthday parties is that the weather is hit or miss here. I liked being big pregnant in the winter, so I could just lay around at home and not worry about missing much going on. With DS, I was due 8/6 and was HUGE and uncomfortable in the heat of the summer, then I had a newborn when it got super hot in September. He has also got tons of sickie bugs, despite being EBF. On the plus side, summer birthdays are easy in Oregon.
