Question Grovia as swim diaper?

Can I use a Grovia shell as a swim diaper or will it get ruined?

Re: Grovia as swim diaper?

I've read of many people using empty shells or pockets and having success. From everything I've seen, though, chlorine is tough on diapers. Based on this, my assessment was that a cover or shell is fine in a pinch, but swim diapers are cheap, so I'd rather risk one of those for regular use.

As long as it's not used it water that has chlorine. We have a kiddy pool here at home so for us it doesn't matter. These make excellent swim diapers!

Re: Grovia as swim diaper?

on their FB page they say yes, but to reserve one for the use if it is going to be used constantly. A cold rinse to get chlorine off will help extend its' life, just like you would rinse a bathing suit after wearing.
