Re: safety of amber necklaces?

I contacted her she was very nice and said it happens with heavy use as its a soft stone and offered to restring it, guess I didnt think we had been using it heavily, were pretty careful with it... oh well I must just be being too picky

Re: safety of amber necklaces?

I usually put mine on DS when I notice him getting fussy or teething. I take it off for bath. I have left it on a few times for nighttime but then my thoughts get the best of me and I start taking it off at night. But I'd like to leave it on since that is seems to be the hardest time. Maybe I should try the ankle/sock thing for night. Mine is from Inspired by Finn and has not chipped or cracked. I'm pretty sure it also has the break away feature.

We've had ours for a while and at 19 mo I don't touch it. He bathes, sleeps, and plays in it.

Dd2 is 7 mos and has worn her Inspired by Finn necklace since 4 mos day and night except for baths. She rarely even touches it. All beads are knotted and the clasp will come undone if tugged on with moderate force. I am comfortable with that. YMMV

I was concerned about this as well so i got an anket instead of a necklace from inspired by finn. We take it off for bathtime but he does wear it at night under a sock. Daytime i switch from leg to leg each diaper change so that it doesn't leave marks. Seems to work just fine!
