Re: Cravings?

Ice. Yup... I can go through 2 gallon bag of ice in less than a weeks' time.

Sometimes I crave milk, cottage cheese. And there are times if I haven't had a salad in a while (normally have one for lunch every day) I'll just to be all sorts of crazy until I get one!

^You should probably have your iron checked. Craving ice is a sign of anemia.

Tums for heartburn? Have you tried eating a few almonds instead? I heard they're supposed to help heartburn and they're better for you than tums.

I don't have any specific ones, I just feel like I eat all the time. For a while it was soda but I think I've got that under control - I've only had 2 in the past 10 days or so.

The L&D nurse said pregnant women crave ice regardless. She said ice for eating is the most common request! And I was allowed to eat food so it wasn't because they were only "allowing" ice. I've eaten ice every single pregnancy!!

That's interesting. I have sensitive to cold teeth so I never eat ice, pregnant or not. There is a thing during the second trimester that my sil pretty much called pregnancy induced anemia (I think...). She's in nursing school and just had her ob clinicals.

Anyway, the smell of clorox that's interesting. It makes me want to puke and burns my nose.

With one pregnancy I craved French Dip sandwiches. With one ice, and the third ice cream(mint chip). This time so far cottage cheese and soda.

PICKLES! :dirf:
Earlier in pregnancy I was really craving waffles...now I've been craving a big soft salty pretzel with cheese!
All my cravings have been terribly unhealthy

Yeah, I thought it could be a sign of iron deficiency anemia too. it's not definitive, but it can be a sign of it.

Right now I want tapioca pudding. And someone to do my housework. I crave that the most.
